Hi to everyone from Cincinnati. I am here to attend a Papertrey Ink event, Stamp a Faire. I feel so privileged and grateful to be able to come here and meet many Papertrey Ink fans and enjoy paper crafting time together.
I will post tomorrow or Sunday all the wonderful items we make.
I have to also say an HUGE THANK to all my blog visitors. I will make 10,000 hits hopefully today. Wow, I can't believe it. I started this blog as a challenge to myself on a snowy day last December. I have had so much fun. Thanks again.

On a roll and having fun
Just another little card completed late last night. I used the same layout as the one before. Easy peasy and faster.
The papers are from Triple pack Country Estate/Spring market/ Yacht and double pack Ladies + Gents/ Trendsetter by Webster's pages, sentiment stamps are G Studio alphabet stamp set by Hampton Art and flower embellishment by Webster's Pages Whimsies - Red Roses. I don't know the name of the digital stamp. I will see if I can find it today and add note later.

Getting back in the groove
Once school holidays are here and exam time is over. It's time to play ! I am having the time of my life travelling and just enjoying family this summer. There is plenty to be done in the garden and I love the long evenings. However I enjoyed a couple of hours this evening making this little card. It took me forever to decide which pages to use. They are all so lovely from this set.

A Passion for Papertrey Ink Challenge
This week I used a little inspiration from Maureen's blog
http://buttonsandbling.blogspot.com/2011/06/youre-class-act.html
Maureen is the featured stamper for the month of June on a Passion for Papertrey Ink Blog. Have a look at her blog and galleries. I am sure you'll agree she is a very talented lady.
Papertrey ink supplies I used this week include patterned paper, advocado cardstock, buttons and ribbon and of course the free download we were given a couple of months ago.

A Passion for Papertrey Challenge
I love all kinds of music and I will try and singalong to almost anything. Husband laughs and sons cringe. I just ignore. Music makes me feel good, carefree and young at heart. Thinking about this challenge I daydreamed about other simple things in life that just lift the mood. Lipstick ! So simple, so quick and just oh SOooooo. Driving along in my car, singing along to this song Hey, Soul Sister by Train.
Checking my red lipstick in the car mirror, tapping along on the steering wheel. LOL. Hey simple but worth millions....
Precious Papertrey Ink buttons used here.
By the way I picked up the idea of cutting the above sentiment tag here this week

Santa's Key
With all the fun and excitement of last week my mojo for was definitely kicked back into gear. Having ordered 5 packets of keys by K and Co last January it was only yesterday that I got a chance to have a go at making a tag and pocket. I had googled on and off over the past couple of months for inspiration and each time I came back to this beautiful set from http://www.etsy.com/people/misseskwittys?ref=ls_profile

Everything about it to me seemed just perfect, the textures, the colours and the style. Eventually I set to it yesterday and using bits and bobs in the craft room I made my own version . I am quite happy with it. It cost very little to make and with my little tiny sewing machine I ran it up in minutes. This week I plan to tweak it a little so that I can run up a batch for the Christmas charity fairs later this year. I will also have to spend a little time on packaging ideas. I'll post them with details of the tag etc as soon as I can.

I WON, I WON !
http://apassionforpapertrey.blogspot.com/2011/05/winner.html
What a wonderful way to start my day. A quick peep in at A Passion for Papertrey blog this morning to the amazing news. Not one prize but TWO ! Yeah I am so thrilled and delighted. I have a saying " I could n't even win an argument " Guess I'll have to ditch it now.
Thank you so much ladies, Amy, Kate and Caryn. I have been a follower of this blog for well over two years now. I even took a little trip to the UK to participate in a lovely card making day last year. I brought home my little bag of goodies and kept them safe on a top shelf. I was so frustrated last week cause I took it down to use and wasted some precious paper ( only card makers/ scrapbookers can understand the craziness of this ! LOL.) So glad I persevered now. Papertrey Ink supplies are precious, especially this side of the Atlantic ! What a wonderful stamp set to win. We are a family who just love to travel, for work and pleasure. We love planes, airlines, airports. They have so many wondeful personal associations for us.
A special thank you for Michelle Wooderson's http://michellewooderson.blogspot.com/
