Having Sew Much Fun Stitching and nearly at 100,000 visits.

This little guy I made with the latest stitching die kit from Papertrey Ink and Erin Lincoln. I made a little rabbit with an Irish flavour to it. It took some time to cut out but once all the pieces were ready and die cut it sewed together pretty easy and fast.

The little baby booties are made from a similar stitching die kit from PTI .
Cards were made using text block baby die, rattled and sweet cheeks dies and stamps from PTI

Coin purses made using the coin purse stitching dies also from PTI.

Hope you enjoyed all my stitching projects today. Thank you for popping by to visit.

A Special Thank you to all my blog visitors and followers.

Misti is in the house

Yesterday the postman knocked on the door with a package from My Sweet Petunia containing a late  Christmas present, the new and incredible stamping tool, MISTI.

My day's plans gave way to trying out the latest invention to the stamping world. Having tried it, I love it. It is seriously the best thing since sliced bread (as they say). The following cards were stamped using stamps and dies from Papertrey Inks, You are a Masterpiece Kit. Using Misti I was able to stamp the die cuts accurately first time with no wastage of cardstock.

The Misti is made of sturdy acrylic but to keep it extra safe I invested in a cute oilcloth laptop sleeve by Cath Kidston. It was the perfect fit.

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenges

My entry for Day 1 - Design Team Inspiration

Today kicks off Papertrey Ink's annual festivities. This month they celebrate 8 years in business. Each day for the next 10 days a challenge will be posted for their fans and customers to enter. I chose the following colour recipe and sketch recipe as my inspiration. I used the star stamp from the set Love Lives Here Holiday and the sentiment and image stamp from the set For The Graduate. Stamps and cardstock used are from Papertrey Ink.

I am planning on joining in each day in the festivities and challenges. Pop back tomorrow to see tomorrow's entry if you can.

Stamp-a-Faire 2013 Recipe Remix

My 18year old son asked me to make some thank you cards for his teachers before he finished school this summer. I was chuffed but knew I had to get this right.  He was specific with his request. NO glitter or bling ! I kept it plain and simple and used the school's colours.

I am submitting it to Papertrey Ink's Stamp-a-Faire  recipe remix challenge. Fingers crossed it will get picked so that one of the design team will add their special finish.

The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Iconic Images stamp set Stamp-a-Faire 2011 using Papertrey Ink enchanted evening and heat embossed.
Cardstock is Papertrey Ink  enchanted evening and spring rain.
The background stamp is from Polka Dot Basics and is stamped using enchanted evening ink.

The car is packed and I am off to the country tomorrow to craft with Papertrey Ink's Stamp-a-Faire 2013 online event which is free for all participants. Looking forward to a brilliant weekend.
Why not join in too. You can find all the details here

Happy Monday

Mad busy today. No time to craft or work on promised pdf file -just a little time to catch up on favourite blogs. Thought you might enjoy this from Erin Lincoln's Blog http://erinlincoln.blogspot.com/   and Papertrey Ink release September
I think this set would make a lovely gift or craft fair item. Papertrey Ink never fails to impress me. Just love this months release.
