Having fun with my Misti

Today I set a little time aside to make a birthday card for a friend. I used embellished elegance stamp set and dies from Papertrey Ink and inspiration from a lovely card by Kristii, Sincerely Yours Blog. Kristii's card prompted me to buy the stamp set and now with the incredible Misti I can stamp those long thin stems accurately. Inks and cardstock from Papertrey Ink. Patterned paper from stash.
Hope you enjoy.

Misti is in the house

Yesterday the postman knocked on the door with a package from My Sweet Petunia containing a late  Christmas present, the new and incredible stamping tool, MISTI.

My day's plans gave way to trying out the latest invention to the stamping world. Having tried it, I love it. It is seriously the best thing since sliced bread (as they say). The following cards were stamped using stamps and dies from Papertrey Inks, You are a Masterpiece Kit. Using Misti I was able to stamp the die cuts accurately first time with no wastage of cardstock.

The Misti is made of sturdy acrylic but to keep it extra safe I invested in a cute oilcloth laptop sleeve by Cath Kidston. It was the perfect fit.

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenges Day 5

Day 5: Spring Into Action Challenge

Today our challenge was to ink up a stamp set we had not used. My perfect set was Spring Hills by PTI. I love the image. I stamped it and then coloured it with pro-markers. I then ran it through the canvas/linen plate to make it look like fabric. Sentiment from the same set. Cardstock and ink from PTI.

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenges Day 4

Day 4: Build a Bouquet Challenge

For day 4 the challenge was to take at least two stamp sets and use the stamps to build a bouquet.
I used the daffodil stamps and dies from Year of the Flowers  and the fern stamps and dies from Meadow Greens, both sets are from Papertrey Ink. The cardstock and inks used are also Papertrey Ink. I embossed the card front with the canvas/linen impression plate another PTI product.
