Stamp-A-Faire 2018: Green Thumb Garden Journal with Heather Nichols

The sixth and final challenge for SAF 2018 was to make a journal.

Heather Nichols took centre stage again to teach a class on how to make booklets and a fabric cover. When assembled they would become a garden journal.

While I did not have the  actual journal papers or stamps used by Heather I attempted to make my own using PTI cardstock and embroidery floss. I used a ruler and a sharp pointed tool to make the holes in the journal pages and using one as a template easily created the remainder needed. Attaching the pages together was super easy by following Heathers tutorial for booklet and Heather's tutorial for journal cover .

A look at the inside of one of the booklets.

The cover is not yet finished. I used the stitched medallion 3 die from PTI to add a little interest to a piece of Hawaian Shores felt from PTI.
